RECOGNIZING EXCEPTIONAL TALENT

The Apollo Celebration Awards were inaugurated and presented at the 2017 Apollo 11 Gala. Apollo Celebration gala guests are the first to hear who has won each year. The 2017 glass awards were produced and sponsored by the Soneva Resorts’ Glass Art Studio.

Jeff Bezos, founder of amazon.com and spaceflight company Blue Origin. His company has been developing reusable rockets and will soon take tourists on sub-orbital flights. Presented by Buzz Aldrin.

Jim Christensen, Director of Education at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Presented by BASF President, Andrew Aldrin.
